Minimal Social Media

  2. No ads
  3. Privacy through encryption and authentication
  4. Interactions such as commenting, saving, and liking, without breaching silos
  5. User controlled algorithms

I thought #4 would require a Git-like fork and merge, but now I’m not sure. Access to the data layer, either through Git or a format such as JSON, might be enough.
